Some notes of interest:
1. Your mission team must be fully assembled prior to entering the Presage mission. You can't join players already in the mission.
2. The derelict Cabal ship's secrets are not available for scanning until you have completed the Presage mission at least once.
3. On previous Presage run-throughs, you probably came across numerous data pads (glowing tablets) scattered about. These are not the items you are looking for when attempting to unravel the Glykon's mysteries. You can safely ignore them.
4. During your search for scannable objects, we regret to inform you that you will still have to fight Scorn combatants, including the boss fight. Wisdom from experience, Guardians.
Presage First Batch Run
For this run of the Presage mission, here are the FIVE (5) objects you're looking for, in mission progression order:
- Cabal Bodies
- Scorn Apparel
- Guardian's Ship
- Dark Ether Canisters
- Calus's Message
Finding all five of these objects will unlock the "Captain's Log Seasonal Challenge," and the "Figments of an Answer" triumph. Here is a brief description of where to find these scannable objects:
Presage object 1 -- Cabal Bodies
After you arrive and do a little jumping and wriggling through the derelict ship, you will come to the first switch that opens the loading ramp door. Throwing the switch also unlocks an interior door that leads into the Glykon. Immediately upon entering the ship proper, you're greeted by bizarre plant life and, in the centre of the room, several Cabal bodies have been captured by the plant's vines and suspended in the air. Creepy? Yes! Scan the Cabal bodies for your first clue about the Glykon's story line.Presage object 2 -- Scorn Apparel
Press forward until you arrive at a big room with two large electrical barriers. There's a narrow hallway that leads to a switch, after which you'll jump the gap to a platform on the opposite side of the room. But before jumping the gap, check to the right of the sealed door to find Scorn apparel lying on the floor beside the path forward (it's easy to miss). Scan it. Then use the plant spores to gain a buff, and proceed across the gap and through the ether wall.Presage object 3 -- Guardian's Ship
After completing the delightful, giant trash compactor, you will drop down into another room where you'll quarrel with more Scorn. This is where you will also get your first glimpse of the mission's boss: the Locus of Communion. The boss will slip away while you're mopping up Scorn combatants. Continue moving forward until you reach the Glykon's hanger. A much bigger fight ensues that includes two major Abomination Scorn. When the scuffle is over, head to the outside left corner where you'll exit to the outside for another brief, platform-hopping experience. STOP! Before exiting, scan the Guardian's ship right next to the exit point. It's outfitted with some "Season of Opulence" gear.Presage object 4 -- Dark Ether Canisters
Soon enough you will reach another room with a couple of small electrical barriers, just above you. Expose a fuse and shoot it to briefly disrupt the electrical barrier, allowing you to pass through. On the other side, throw a switch to clear your path to the far side of the barrier. To the right of the switch are some canisters with blue liquid inside. Scan them.Presage object 5 -- Calus's Message
The final object appears following your fight with the boss. After defeating the Locus of Communion, exit the boiler room through the newly opened door. Continue until you come across a panel in the floor that you can shoot, allowing you to drop down into a ventilation shaft lit in red light. Instead of continuing down the path, turn around and hop over a low pile of junk to access an open space on the other side. Here is where you will find a small hologram of Calus's face. Scan it to discover more of Glykon's story.Complete the Presage mission by grabbing the exotic Dead Man's Tale scout rifle, and collect your seasonal challenge and triumph.
