D2: Presage Objects — Second Batch

Having completed at least a second run-through of the Glykon's spooky interior and found the first five  (5) scannable objects, another mission quest called "Another Link in the Chain" will unlock. (See previous blog entry for info on the first batch of discoverable objects.)

Presage Second Batch Run

So it's back to the derelict ship for yet another run-through of Presage to find more scannable objects, but this time with the assistance of both Osiris and Caiatl on comms. For this run, here are the SIX (6) objects that you're looking for (continuing the round order from the previous blog post), in mission progression order:

1. Computer Panel
2. Scorpius Turret
3. Incendior Flamethrower Tank
4. Scorn Surgery Table
5. Dead Ghost
6. Calus's Riches

Finding all six of these objects will grant you the "Another Link in the Chain" triumph. Here's the locations for this second batch of objects for you to find and scan.

Presage object 6 -- Computer Panel

Early on in the Presage mission you will see the Cabal bodies strung up in the plant vines. While viewing these bodies, look up to your left to see a ventilation hatch cover that you need to shoot to open. Do so, and then jump up onto the pipes to reach the hatch. Inside the vent is an orange-coloured computer panel on the wall. Scan it.

Presage object 7 -- Scorpius Turret

Continue onward until you reach the large room with the electrical barriers. Buff with plant spores, jump the gap and pass through the ether wall, and continue on to the point where you see the cylindrical jumping platform hanging from the ceiling, over some rather menacing, gigantic gears. Before jumping, pivot left to find a destroyed Cabal turret that you can scan.

Presage object 8 -- Incendior's Tank

Continue with the mission until you dispatch all Scorn enemies in the main hanger. Then use the outside jumping platforms to enter the secondary hanger. Look beneath the ship that is docked there. Walk down a shallow ramp to find a Cabal Incendior's flamethrower tank that is scannable.

Presage object 9 -- Scorn Surgery Table

Beyond the hanger is a large room full of plant vines. A Scorn Chieftain is lying on a table in the centre of the room (he's hard to miss). Scan him before you leave the room.

Presage object 10 -- Dead Ghost

En route to the boss fight, you'll arrive at the rotating jumping platforms. You know the ones; they're vertical but rotate flat when you approach them. Jump to the second platform, look up to your left and dispatch the Scorn on the upper platform. Before jumping up, pivot right to see a small platform with crates on it. Behind the crates is a dead ghost for you to scan.

Presage object 11 -- Calus's Riches

After defeating the big boss yet again (you're getting more efficient at this, right?), you will enter the Glykon bridge room. Drop down onto a catwalk that leads to an exotic Dead Man's Tale scout rifle, and the deceased Guardian. Now jump off the catwalk, pivot 180 degrees to face the opposite wall. At the far end, under the catwalk, is a pile of Cabal gold with a chalice sitting on top. Go ahead and scan it.

Complete the mission by taking Dead Man's Tale, and you should unlock the "Another Link in the Chain" triumph. Check your lore book for more entries.
