D2 shotguns: Love 'em or Hate 'em?

Destiny 2 guru and video reviewer Datto gives us an excellent overview of all the shotgun changes following Season of the Drifter.

This shotgun-testing video uses the hypothesis that, while lower RPM weapons deal more damage on a per/shot basis, the higher RPM weapons should deal more DPS, or damage over a certain duration longer than one shot.

This is a must-see video, with all the "bells and whistles" stats. Of special note is what Datto has to say about the "Lord of Wolves" shotgun!
