The Revelry & hand cannon nerfs

Datto video: 13m 2s
Gamer and reviewer Datto expresses some apathy for the Revelry event, and shares his less than apathetic response to the Luna's Howl / Not Forgotten hand cannon nerfs.

This video also spawned an interesting thread discussion about the "Bloom" (accuracy reduction as you continue shooting) attribute on weapons. According to some, while Bloom may represent a real-world parametric, applying it to video game player-vs-player arenas, is ... simply wrong-thinking. Especially for hand cannons that a player grinds for what seems like forever to get, with the expectation that double-tapping in the Crucible will help win the day. Sadly, it doesn't work that way. Apparently Bungie has applied this parametric to weapons in their FPS games as far back as Halo Reach.
