Voice actors of Destiny

Destiny is crammed full of famous voice actors, some you already know, while others may surprise you. Here's a list ...

Ghost (1): Peter Dinklage
◀︎ Better known as Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones (or Miles Finch from Elf), Peter Dinklage was the first actor to voice the Ghost in Destiny. His line "the wizards came from the moon" in the Destiny Alpha soon became its own meme, and spread like wildfire (the green kind).




Ghost (2): Nolan North
◀︎ The second in line to voice your AI companion in Destiny is Nolan North. He is best known for his portrayal as Nathan Drake in the Uncharted video game franchise. He also voiced Deadpool in the Deadpool video game, the character Rocket in the Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale series, and has been in countless other video games including Shadow of Mordor, the Batman Arkham series, Saints Row, World of Warcraft, and others.

The Speaker: Bill Nighy
◀︎ Better known as Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Carribean film series, Bill Nighy has been in some great movies. He is a multi-talented actor who has been featured in many epic Hollywood blockbusters, and some outstanding British comedies.





Exo Stranger: Lauren Cohan
◀︎ Known for her role as Maggie in The Walking Dead, Lauren Cohan was also Martha Wayne in Batman Vs. Superman. She has also made appearances in American TV shows such as Chuck and The Vampire Diaries. She voiced Juliana in the 'Vice' season of Archer.





Ikora Rey: Gina Torres
◀︎ Gina Torres is well known for her role as Zoe Washburne in Firefly. She also played Cas in The Matrix Reloaded / Revolutions, and Jessica Pearson in Suits, and even Bernard's wife Lauren in the Westworld TV series.






Commander Zavala: Lance Riddick
◀︎ Most gamers may recognize Lance Riddick as Sylens from Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Martin Hatch from Quantum Break. Other eagle-eyed TV watchers may also recognize him from shows such as Fringe, The Wire and Lost. His voice was also featured in the Destiny 2 reveal trailer.




Cayde 6: Nathan Fillion
◀︎ Nathan Fillion is recognized by many for his role as Captain Malcom Reynolds in Firefly, but more recently for his work as Richard Castle in the TV series, Castle. Nathan was also featured in the Halo video game series as Buck; both in Halo 3: ODST and Halo 5. More recently he has starred beside his good friend Alan Tudyk in the web series Con Man. He loaned his voice to the first-ever Destiny 2 teaser trailer.

Lord Shaxx: Lennie James
◀︎ Mostly recognized as Morgan in The Walking Dead, Lennie James has been in many roles over the years. He played Sol in Snatch, General Zateb Kazim in Sahara, and he was also Joe Geddes in the TV series The Low Winter Sun.





Arach Jalaal: Peter Stormare
◀︎ Peter Stormare has been in some great films over the years such as Armageddon, The Big Lebowski and the original Fargo movie. More recently he played The Ghost in 22 Jump Street. He also plays Czernobog in American Gods.





Executor Hideo: James Remar
◀︎ Best know for his role as Harry Morgan (Dexter's dad) in Dexter, James Remar has played some interesting roles, such as Frank Gordon in Gotham and Ace Speck in Django Unchained. He also voiced Tonraq in The Legend of Korra.





Master Rahool: Erick Avari
◀︎ Most of you may know Erick Avari from classic 90s films such as Stargate, Independence Day and The Mummy. He was also in the TV show Heros as Mohinder Suresh's father Chandra, and in Warehouse 13 as Caturanga.





Tess Everis: Claudia Black
◀︎ Claudia is mainly recognized for her role as officer Aeryn Sun in the early 00s sci-fi series FarScape. She also played Sharon in the film Pitch Black, and Vala Mal Doran in season 10 of Stargate-SG1. She does lots of voice acting, and has loaned her voice to characters such as Samantha Byrne in Gears of War 4, and Chloe Frazer in the Uncharted video game franchise.



Banshee-44: John DiMaggio
◀︎ John is a multi-talented voice actor who has voiced characters such as Bender from Futurama, Wakka from Final Fantasy X, Jake from Adventure Time, and Marcus Pheonix from Gears of War. Most recently he has voiced Uka Uka and Tiny Tiger in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane trilogy.
