D2: Weekly reset for June 25th

Dychronic video: 9m 17s
Gamer Dychronic reviews what's new in this week's Tuesday reset in Destiny 2. To begin with, Dychronic continues to "discover" weird stuff in Destiny before most other players ... to wit, the Iron Banner flaming shield (see image) should not be visible after the reset ... but, there it is ... and without Lord Saladin we should note.

THE MENAGERIE — The modifier this week is Void Singe, with dailies of Iron and Heavyweight. This week's reset now includes the Heroic version of Menagerie. Since we're into the 4th week of the new season, the BIG Minotaur has returned. Apparently the Heroic version is NOT match-made, so you will need to gather your friends / clan mates to go as a full team of six. Also add Blackout and Extinguish to the dailies for the Heroic level mission. Keep in mind that with Extinguish, if your fireteam falls in a Restricted Zone, everyone is returned to orbit!

NIGHTFALLUPDATE!
Bungie manually changed the Nightfall strikes due to excessive negative feedback. Now the three choices are: Lake of Shadows, Inverted Spire and Insight Terminus.

[ The three choices of 540 power level NFs this week include Warden of Nothing (highest-scoring), A Garden World, and The Arms Dealer. Mission modifiers include Challenge Card, Equipment Locked, Solar Singe, Match Game, Blackout and Extinguish. Watch out for that latter modifier. ]

VANGUARD STRIKES — The modifier this week is Void Singe, with dailies of Iron and Heavyweight.

CRUCIBLE PvP — This week features Lockdown 4v4. You must seize at least two zones to make capture progress, and control all three for an early win.

THE RECKONING (Likeness of Oryx) — The modifier this week is Solar Singe, with dailies of Attrition and Grenadier.

FLASHPOINT: EDZ — Get your clan points up by completing various activities including public events, Lost Sectors and Heroic adventures. The featured Heroic adventure this week is Poor Reception.

THE DREAMING CITY — Now at its strongest curse state this week. Of course Petra has a vendor challenge for you, and you will find her in the Rheasilvia area.

ESCALATION PROTOCOL — All three Ikelos weapons are available this week. According to the light.gg database, here are the stats for Ikelos weapon acquisition by Destiny 2 players, to date:

   Ikelos shotgun — 42.83%
   Ikelos sub-machine gun — 32.46%
   Ikelos sniper rifle — 32.10%

According to Dychronic, you just have to rinse and repeat EP levels 6 and 7 over and over again, which should net you plenty of opportunities to get your missing Ikelos weapon(s). This idea is likely appealing to Kadar!

THE SPIDER — Don't forget to pick up bounties from The Tangled Shore's only law! You may have to minor-grind a few wild bounty beacons to get enough ghost fragments to pay for Spider's personal bounties ... another idea that probably sits well with Kadar, the self-declared lover of grind.

EVERVERSE STORE — There are two worthy exotic ghost shells you may want to check out this week:

1. Arc Shell — Want to modify your Sparrow? For a paltry 2,850 Bright Dust, this ghost shell features the Speed Demon intrinsic. Your vehicles take less time to summon and all your weapons reload while you ride.

2. Drop Pod Shell — Increase all your XP gains by 10% with this ghost shell, featuring the Guiding Light intrinsic. The cost is also 2,850 Bright Dust.

CLAN STEWARD — This week Suraya Hawthorne is offering the All-Nighter NIGHTFALL bounty that you must complete with clan mates for maximum glory! ... in addition to clan bounties relative to the Crucible, Raid and Menagerie. Weekly bounty challenges include one of Kadar's favourites, Which Witch (who doesn't love being blasted off the floating rocks and into the void?), Hold the Line and Limited Blessings.

LEVIATHAN — The well-oiled Benedict 99-40 continues to offer the same bounties that he offered on day one of the new season. That said, they are Golden Experience (defeat a % of enemies around the solar system), Trial By Valor (complete 10 Vanguard daily bounties), Gaze Into Death's Eyes (defeat 200 enemies with sub-machine guns, shotguns, swords or sidearms), and Salvaged Goods (loot 5 legendary engrams from the ground in any activity). Don't forget to refresh your Wealth of the Emperor buff, if needed.
