Note that if you already own Destiny 2: Forsaken, and have been keeping up with the latest story line, then Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will act as a DLC, and D2 will expand, requiring 165 GB of hard drive storage! If you're running out of space on your console's internal drive, perhaps now is the time to consider a small investment in plug 'n play external storage.
We personally recommend the Western Digital "My Book" solution. The product is virtually made for seamlessly extending your games storage. All of our games are automatically saved to the external My Book by default. The product is available in various capacity sizes, from 3TB to 10TB. The capacity allowance will be determined by your particular gaming setup (directed more towards gaming consoles than actual computers). For example, since I'm using one of the earlier production PlayStation 4 consoles, its external storage capacity capability is capped at 4TB (according to Sony's console production serial number). Here are some technical specifications for My Book from the Western Digital website.
Formatted exFAT for out-of-the-box compatibility with MS Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 8.1 & 7). Reformatting is required forApple operating systems (MacOS Extended-Journaled). Note: Compatibility may vary depending on user's hardware configuration and operating systems, and requires reformatting for use with Time Machine.
