D2: Weekly reset for August 27th

Data for this week's update was gleaned from gamer-reviewers Dychronic and Houndish, with a dash of Reddit. First up ... the Solstice of Heroes is now over, and Eva Levante is back on the beach. Fear not, there's still more than enough chores to go around.

NIGHTFALL strike offerings this week include Warden Of Nothing (Prison of Elders), The Corrupted (highest-scoring; Dreaming City), and Strange Terrain (fastest run; Mars). The latter could grant you the highest-scoring as well, if you simply rinse and repeat the dispatching of Hive Knights, who will constantly respawn!

VANGUARD STRIKES this week feature Void Singe, with Iron and Heavyweight leading off the daily modifiers (same as regular Menagerie).

IRON BANNER Lord Saladin is back in the tower. This time around it's 6x6 Control. The IB armour quest was updated a little while back by Bungie, and this is the first IB since that update, so some of the armour quest steps have changed. There will be another IB later in September, the fourth and final IB for the season. Note that double-valour applies during the week, and triple-valour is in effect for the weekend coming.

LEVIATHAN That loveable gizmo Werner 99-40 remains steadfast on the golden barge (Nessus), and continues to offer weekly bounties as usual. For the weapon this week, Werner is offering the Midnight Coup hand cannon.

There is a slight variation of armour being offered by Benedict 99-40 back in the tower. Benedict's weapon offering this week is the It Stared Back solar sword, from the original raid.

THE MENAGERIE Regular mode this week features Void Singe, with Iron and Heavyweight starting off the dailies. heroic mode also features Void Singe, with Blackout, Iron and Extinguish modifiers to begin the week.

The boss for both modes is the big Vex Minotaur with the shielding.

THE RECKONING features Solar Singe, with Attrition and Heavyweight starting off the dailies.

FLASHPOINT is on Io this week, with the heroic adventure Road Rage to begin the week.

DREAMING CITY is in its strongest curse state, and therefore, Petra can be found in Rheasilvia. The Ascendant Challenge will take place in the Keep of Honed Edges, Harbinger's Seclude. The Blind Well features Taken enemies, and the plague this week is Inomina.

ESCALATION PROTOCOL is offering all three Ikelos weapons this week. The boss will be Naksud, the Famine.

CLAN STEWARD Hawthorne's weekly bounties include Blindsight (% of Blind Well clears), Fight Forever Together (10 Crucible matches), Raiding Party (any raid with your mates), and A Calus Affair (3 Menagerie runs).

EVERVERSE Check out the Bright Dust section ... you're sure to find something of interest for a "fistful of dust!" And just a reminder that Eververse items will (very soon) no longer dismantle into Bright Dust. To obtain Bright Dust, you will need to pick up Eververse bounties.
