D2: Where is Xûr?

Beginning on the first Friday the 13th of 2019 (another in December) ... our favourite "hawker" of the Nine is located on Titan, Saturn's largest moon, in his usual cozy little room on The Rig. Click on the weapon and armour names to view their details in the Light.gg database. This weekend Xûr is loaded up with chest armour. His exotic offerings include:

Coldheart

WEAPON Coldheart trace rifle featuring the Cold Fusion intrinsic. This weapon shoots a steady, cold fusion-powered laser. Perks include an Extended Barrel that increases both range and recoil direction by +10, but decreases handling by -10. This weapon is offered with an Enhanced Battery that increases the magazine size by +20, and a Hand-Laid Stock that increases stability by +10. Finally, the Longest Winter trait allows Coldheart's laser to do exponentially more damage the longer it remains on target. Dychronic is "luke warm" on this weapon because in his view, it's now in limbo (perhaps it needs a buff?).

The Dragon's Shadow

HUNTER The Dragon's Shadow chest armour (also called the "Ninja" armour). This chest piece features the exotic intrinsic Wraithmetal Mail, whereby dodging reloads all weapons and increases both movement and weapon handling speeds for a brief time. Perks include your choice of increased resilience or health recovery, and your choice of unflinching sub machine-gun aim, unflinching energy aim or unflinching machine gun. And lastly a couple of perk choices for hand cannon or bow reserves. Dychronic rates this armour below average.

Hallowfire Heart

TITAN Hallowfire Heart chest armour featuring the Gunfire Furnace intrinsic that improves the recharge rate of your Solar abilities (x2), and greatly improves recharge rate while your Super is charged (x4). Similar to the Hunter armour, the perks includes your choice of increased resilience or health recovery, and your choice of unflinching fusion rifle aim, unflinching bow aim or unflinching linear fusion aim. Finally you can choose between auto rifle or scout rifle reserves. Sadly there is no ammo scavenger perk.

Chromatic Fire

WARLOCK Chromatic Fire chest armour featuring the Crystalline Transistor intrinsic, whereby precision kills with your kinetic weapon create an explosion in the element of your equipped subclass (basically Dragonfly for your kinetic weapon ... if you're using Ace Of Spades, the explosion should be doubled ... right?). Perk mods offer a choice of increased mobility or health recovery. You can also choose between unflinching bow, submachine gun or sniper rifle aim enhancement. Again, there is no ammo scavenger perk; only bow and submachine gun reserves. Overall, a fun and effective intrinsic.
